It’s that time of year again; Kennards is kicking off their annual charity initiative, ‘Kennards For Kids’ on the 1st of September.
While Kennards already make your job easy, they hope to make life a little easier for sick, injured or disadvantaged kids around Australia. Throughout
September and October, the nation-wide Kennards For Kids initiative will raise money and awareness for carefully selected children’s charities.
As a family-owned business, Kennards are passionate about providing kids with the best start to life possible. It is this belief in the potential of our
kids that led the company to donate over a quarter of a million dollars to various children’s charities and organisations in last year’s campaign alone.
For every hire made during September and October, Kennards will donate $2, which will be distributed around the country to selected organisation’s to assist
the kids who need it most.
Allen Besseling, CEO of Kennards Hire, thinks that it is vital that kids are given every chance at success in life.
“We believe that it’s all about breaking negative cycles early on in a child’s life,” Besseling stated.
“We started Kennards For Kids because it allows us to help the youth in our communities realise their potential. It really is the most rewarding part of
what we do.”
This year, support is being extended to charities including Stepping Stone House, the Smith Family Scholarship program, Kids Xpress, Variety, the Children’s
Charity, the Constable Care Foundation and the Children’s Health Foundation.
Lauren Granger, Executive Manager at the Children’s Health Foundation in QLD is extremely grateful for the support that Kennards has, and will continue
to offer the foundation.
“Kennards For Kids is a partnership that is so important to us,” Lauren explained.
“Their support enables the Foundation to fund clinical research and medical equipment to discover faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cure
many serious childhood illnesses.”
