Kärcher Australia announces new Managing Director

Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG yesterday announced the appointment of Markus Haefeli as new Managing Director for its Australian operating subsidiary.

Markus Haefeli takes over the position with immediate effect, succeeding Cameron Mole, who has resigned as Managing Director of Kärcher Australia.

In announcing the change of leadership, Mr. Hartmut Jenner, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of Kärcher, stated they were very
pleased to welcome Markus Haefeli to Kärcher.

“Australia is an extremely important market for us and we believe he is well qualified to help strengthen our market position and, together with the existing
Kärcher, team will capitalize on opportunities for synergies within Kärcher globally.

“Markus is a good fit with our company, and has the experience to drive Kärcher Australia to the next level.  I thank Cameron for his contributions
to Kärcher’s success over many years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” Mr Jenner said.

Markus brings more than 13 years of general management experience to his new position. Most recently he was CEO of Ferrostaal Australia Pty Ltd for more
than six years. He holds degrees in engineering and an MBA majoring in Marketing.
