Product support managers complete accredited training
A group of Product Support Managers (PSMs) from Ransomes Jacobsen’s Asia Pacific territory, together with their counterparts from the UK, attended a week-long
training seminar at the company’s European headquarters in Ipswich.
The APAC and UK Product Support Managers with the Cutting Edge Training team during their BAGMA and NPTC training week.
The seminars, delivered by the company’s Cutting Edge Training division, ensured that the PSMs from China, Australasia and Asia were competent to deliver
accredited BAGMA product installation and NPTC safe use of ride-on mowers training on return to their respective territories.
Greg Walker, the Training and Product Support Manager from Jacobsen in the USA, also attended the seminars to ensure synergy between the delivery of training
programmes across the company’s global support teams.
Commenting at the conclusion of the intensive five-day sessions Cutting Edge Training Manager Hanfried Sievers said that as health and safety awareness
increases across the Asia-Pacific region it is vitally important that Jacobsen provide first-class product installation to their end-users.
“There are no better vehicles to accomplish this than the BAGMA and NPTC accredited schemes, and that’s why we have trained all of our PSMs to these exacting
standards. While the guys were over here in the UK it was the ideal opportunity to also refresh best practice with regard to fault diagnosis and
hydraulic system testing. We also conducted technical training relating to the launch of our new Ransomes MP Series of wide area mowers, as well as
various updates to current products; all-in-all a very productive week!”
