Silvan sprayer meets mobile vehicle needs
With the rapidly growing number of all terrain, off road and similar utility vehicles in use there is an increasing demand for complementary equipment
that can be carried on the vehicle.
Silvan Australia has responded to this need with the release of a fully equipped spray unit that, while compact enough to fit the available tray space,
is also fully equipped for weed control needs or general spot spraying.
Designated as the 12 Volt Redline Spotpak Sprayer the unit is based on a 100 litre capacity UV stabilised Polytuff tank. The spraying power is provided
by the self priming 12 volt Pakpump which provides 5.3 litres per minute open flow at 60 psi.
Delivery is provided by a six metre length of hose fitted with a 550mm stainless steel spray lance with an adjustable pattern nozzle. Another feature is
the chemical measuring jug which fits and is safely stored beneath the screw on lid of the tank.
With a footprint of 470mm x 885mm and overall height of 435mm, the 100 Litre Redline Spotpak will fit comfortably on the tray of numerous mobile vehicles.
The unit also has threaded brass inserts moulded into the base of the tank to provide permanent mounting points without the need for ratchet strap
tie downs. The empty weight of the unit is 9kg.
For many small property owners, maintenance teams and other users the compact nature and portability of the sprayer makes it easy to spray along fence
lines, rows of vegetation or planting lines without the need to leave the mobile vehicle.
