Fiskars unveils new QuikDrill™ for easy backyard digging
The QuikDrill™ is a brand new approach to hole digging and soil extraction. Developed by the garden equipment guru’s, Fiskars, the QuikDrill™
is designed to not only to make the task easier, but more comfortable and enjoyable. With the ability to penetrate up to 600mm of soil with ease, the
QuikDrill™ will make light work of compact soils, clay and even light stony ground.
Using only the finest of materials and advanced engineering, the QuikDrill™ features two optimally angled boron steel blades secured around a sharp
soil-piercing drill spike to easily breach the surface and avoid jamming as the tool digs deeper into the top soil. The newly designed, efficient drilling
system nullifies common problems associated with cutting through tough layers of grass, earth, roots and other debris. The QuikDrill™ also cleverly
removes exiting soil, depositing it in a neat pile around the hole ready to be removed once you’ve finished drilling.
The QuikDrill™ includes three interchangeable fixed blade options for all digging applications; the 100mm blades are perfect for planting bulbs,
aerating/fertilising soil and installing small posts. The 150mm blades are designed for perennial planting, mixing compost and installing medium sized
posts, while the 200mm blades are ideal for planting hedges and trees, drilling compost holes and installing larger diameter posts.
Constructed with a lightweight steel shaft and FiberComp™ handle, Fiskars QuikDrill™ offers a more ergonomic and comfortable gardening experience,
